Freedom and Liberty
"Show and Tell"
I brought the RV to work so people could see it and know it wasn't a figment of my imagination. I gave guided tours and most everyone approved of it. Looking at the picture above, I'm not sure why the two groups have separated into men and women (except Joe, lol).
Pat, my best friend and co-worker for many years, also retired today. Yeah, we planned it that way. :) We pulled out of the parking lot at the same time, she turned west and I turned east. We planned that too. "you got to have a plan".
My newest temporary home is campsite #17 at Poverty Point State Park in Delhi, Louisiana. It seems to be a quiet place, so far. I'll start exploring the area tomorrow with the archaeological site top of the list. There isn't a lot to see around here but I also plan to just chill out and try to adjust to the change. For some strange reason, I still hear a Blackberry going off.

Take care of each other, Cya
I'm glad it was a good day! Great picture--beautiful sky where your soon to be past meet your future!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're safe. Yes it is a major adjustment to change something you've done for over 30 years! I had no trouble adjusting but Sam retired then went to work somewhere else a week later...everyone is different. It will be sad and exciting all in one. If u go to Martha's Vineyard take pics for me. Other than Florida Keys that's about the only place I'd like to see. Bubba went several times and said "it's ok".
ReplyDeleteEnjoy yourself and keep posting so we know you're alright
I'll try to make it to Martha's Vineyard, but I won't be able to say anything because they wouldn't understand the accent...lol
