Wow, it's been over a month since I've made a post. Since I'm not traveling, I figured there isn't much that would interest readers so I've been putting off making a post. I've received several comments and emails asking if everything is OK. My lack of posting worried some readers and for that I'm sorry. Everything is OK. I've been visiting with family and friends with a little RV maintenance and doctor's visits thrown in for good measure.
My last post was the day before the election. The political pendulum has swung the other way. As with each new president, we need to give them a chance to show the country and the world if they are up to the challenge of running this wonderful, one of kind, country of ours. Good luck, Mr. President (but remember, we will be keeping our eyes on you).
Thanksgiving was great. All of my kids and grandkids were were here as well as future, past and present in-laws and one Ex. It was a good family get-together with everyone bringing pictures from the past to share. The food was very good with everyone pitching in to prepare it. It was a great day.
Pictures will finish out this post and I promise to not be so delinquent in posting again.

What lovely children and grandchildren. Aren't holidays wonderful to reconnect and reminisce? It is like storing up family fuel for the next travel adventure. We are counting the days until the next travel begins.
ReplyDeleteLove all the pictures!! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you are well. Aren't grandkids wonderful? Looks as if one has you wrapped around her finger. Any plans for travel this year?
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and a safe New Year

Those are great pictures of the family Darrell, they reminded me of how much I miss my grandson. He lives in Denver Colorado which unfortunately is a place I try to avoid in the winter. But my daughter has about got me talked into staying there next winter for a few weeks during the Christmas season.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping you and your family have a Merry Christmas.

Daryl, are you still stuck in Louisiana like I am? On August 13 last year, our house got 3" of rainwater...just enough to ruin the floors and had to cut out some Sheetrock. I'm getting ready to hit the road by next month, God willing. Don't know where I'm going...just heading for out West. Hope your son is continuing to improve. Take care.
ReplyDeleteNot stuck, just taking care of some family business.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Darrell. Hope you have a wonderful day and great BD year. Are you on the road yet? What's your travel plans? I'm still stuck in BR.
Thanks Judy. I'm still in Mansfield. My plans are to hit the road after my oldest sons wedding on May 13th. Plan to head west. I hope your flooding problems are resolved quickly.
