| This is the beginning of the Whispering Pine trail. It is only about 3/4 mile long and I was lucky enough to be the only one around the trail today. |

| This is a children's wading pool built by the CCC in the late 1930's. Except for needing some of the organic debris removed from the bottom, it is in great shape. |

| This is what is left over from the women's latrine (toilet) built during the CCC period of the 1930's. I see the lids are up so some guy will have to take the blame for that. |

| The trail is well defined and was created by the CCC. |

| Timber steps reduce erosion and provide sure footing. The problem in walking is seeing all of the tree roots. |

| It was a pretty day for a walk in the woods. There were no flying insects and the place was very quiet. When I would stop, I could hear every sound. It was amazing. |
