Another day, another rest stop for lunch and leg stretching.
As I promised, the picture below is of the campsite from last night in Statesville. The campground was crowded with construction workers and the sites were tight. It got quiet around 9:00 pm and all was good. It was good place for an overnighter.
I got to the campsite early enough today to go to the local Walmart. I got my pills refilled with no hassle what-so-ever. I also picked up a few other things. Water was on sale, so I got a case even though I didn't need any. I go some cash money while checking out. Walmart is pretty high on my good list.
Someone asked if I came up with a name for the GPS voice. By the way, she did a good job again today. I'm thinking of maybe calling her Bertha. You know, "Bertha", one of the Buttz sisters. "Bertha Buttz". What do ya'll think? OK? Extra credit goes to anyone who remembers the name of the song that she is called out.
I will reach the coast tomorrow. I don't remember if I mentioned the campground or not. Anyway, it is by itself on an island and the campground is called North River Campground. The nearest town is Shawboro, NC. I have reservations for Sunday thru Tuesday. We will see how it turns out. Good or bad I have to stay until my mail shows up at the local Post Office.
Ya'll take care of each other. Cya.
I got this one...Jimmy Castor. Troglodyte "He said: "Move...move". She got up. She was a
